Film Ready Utah

Additional Information

Film Ready Utah program is offered by the Utah Film Commission to qualified cities and counties across the state that want to take advantage of economic opportunities that may be available to them from feature film, television, and commercial production. By being “Film Ready”, the Utah Film Commission can more readily promote locations, provide extra support and assist with directing productions to your area.

Rural Utah issues more than half of the film permits issued in the state and with a new rural film incentive program, these communities are experiencing more interest in film, television, and commercial production in their areas. Rural counties are defined as counties outside those designated as 1st and 2nd class: (Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Washington). The Utah Film Commission has responded with a new initiative, Film Ready Utah, to enable rural communities to support production in their areas.
